Maureen and Neilus

So wonderful to catch up again with schoolfriend Maureen and her husband. He recently nearly came to his end and with sepsis and pneumonia was unconscious for days. Maureen sat vigilantly at his side and when eventually he did come to, weakly opening his eyes he saw Mo there and gave her an awful scowl. She asked if he was okay to which he said, "Oh, so you've come back then from Cornwall". His hallucinating was so real with the morphine that he thought she'd gone off with some hippy chappie. They are the most amazing couple I have ever met.
