Still hot

A bit of a sleepless night last night due to the heat. Bailey and I were up and out in the garden at about half two just as the lightning started. I thought that barking was going to start when he spotted the hedgehog out there but I managed to get him back into the house before he started. A bit of reading before I turned the light out and then we were up fairly early so that Bailey could be walked before it got too warm. 

Not too much achieved today but we did have a visit from the gorgeous girl this afternoon. Bailey did his usual effusive welcome and then ignored her. We have had a little walk this evening and a sit in the garden but I am not looking forward to the temperature rising again tomorrow.
