Garden visit

I visited Shutelake garden in Butterleigh, near Cullompton in mid Devon with a local garden group this afternoon. Remote gardens are always accessed via the narrowest of lanes so I was grateful I wasn’t driving. I like this shot as it incorporated the colourful flowers, local stone and an interesting statue. It was thought that the original farm building was about three hundred years old. It was a lovely afternoon for a garden visit which included the customary choice of cake.
