Red Currants

Every time I have set foot outside of the house over the last few days a big fat pigeon has scuttled out from under the net I put over my red currant bush. I have been keeping an eye on him as I would prefer to have those red currants for myself rather than for feeding pigeons. When I came home from work today I picked as many of them as I could. I will have to do something with them tomorrow.

This evening our neighbours and their grandchildren joined us outside in the garden for a meal
