Frustrating couple of hours first thing trying to work out what to do for the next week..,.Bridport? Rye? Sicily? Dubrovnik?.....etc
Thank goodness finally decided on something (a relief....almost regardless of what it was!) taking a foray into the Lake District to sample some of the fabulous restaurants there and do some walking on our way back to Edinburgh. After such a long dither it was then really quick to book the restaurants and somewhere to stay. Phew!
Put some washing on then dropped stuff at T’s flat before home to hang out washing and then have lunch in the garden. Love the sight of sheets in the sunshine on a washing line....unfortunately no breeze though. Took AR shopping with A....but sooooo hot we avoided being outside between the shops much. Home and had supper (home made quiche and salad) in the garden and planned a big dinner for everyone tomorrow night, again in the garden...we’re expecting 35 degrees minimum....argh!
