Thursday Turmoil

This morning I had a walk along Uruti Beach which is not far from our friends farm.  It was invigorating to watch the waves boil and foam.  There is an easterly swell.  There will be no Paua gathering this week.
The situation with our friend became more real today with the delivery of a hospital type bed, hoist and wheelchair to his home at the farm.  He wishes to be at home again and with the help from hospice nurses coming out to the farm he can be.
