If you look carefully the dead stem is showing then just below this is the new stem baring the flowers . The blooms aren't quite as they have been before ( sort of deformed!) but a lovely show all the same , this one is 6 years old and flowers each year . Tho' it seems to bloom whenever it feels like it, no rhyme or reason .
Today , as promised, seems to be the hottest one yet. "A " & I wanted to go out for a cuppa this pm , we'll see !!

Appreciate ..... the " turning " fan. I don't usually like it so as I get draft in my eye. But even I have succumbed to it now.
