The whole world...

New Year's Day, and a beautiful calm and frosty morning gave way to a wet and windy afternoon. No matter though, as we didn't have any further to travel than to my sister mamasuzi's house a mile along the road, where we congregated for an excellent dinner. Afterwards Elsie and Hannah showed me their new high beds in their new big bedroom, and Elsie pointed out Tanzania (where her dad is from, and where they go on holiday from time to time) on their globe lamp.

It's been so lovely spending two weeks at home this year instead of my usual one, but I go back to Edinburgh on Thursday and am missing E&H already...
