Bike update:

So, its been a while since i've posted a bike-related blip, well, it feels like it!
Thats not because I haven't been riding, just that it has to be a particularly nice day for me to feel cheery enough at 8 in the morning to pack my DSLR.

I wash my bike (most probably to the disgust of many people) about once a month. I put my bike through alot and it stays constantly mud filled, appart from the odd brush off when the mud has dried. All my important parts like my DW link suspension, shock and forks and drivetrain stay beautifully maintained, but thats not really noticeable. Your eyes tend to get drawn away from the minority of clean parts, due to the fact you can barely see a spec of greenness.

So, 'the Craiginator' got a clean yesterday, all day it took me. Strip, clean, service and rebuild with new oil and grease, and a few near bearings here and their.

She looks mighty fine if I say so myself!

Quick spec as follows:

Sunday world cup frameset
Progressive 5th element shock
Boxxer world cup fork
Mavic 729/hope hubs
Formula brakes
E.thirteen SRS chain device
X.0 gearing
Raceface cranks
SDG carbon seat.

Got some hugeeeeeeeee burgtec ridewide bars on order, so when they finally arrive i'll blip the wideness.

comment!

PS. Thanks for the comments on yesters blip. x
