When there’s that itch . . .

. . . You just have to stop and scratch!

This female ruby throated hummingbird was good enough to stop and scratch an itch so that I could get her photo.

After last night’s dinner on the battleship and having climbed around onboard taking photos, I was exhausted.

I was not in a real hurry to get up this morning but did still want to spend some time outside while it was comfortable. By noon, it’s hot enough that it’s back inside time for me.

Not unexpected, but I can tell my body is working double time to deal with the shots I got on Monday. Today will be a day of napping and reading.
