Green Woodpecker

A lazy morning and then a trip to Saffron Walden during the afternoon. While my husband went to the dentist I drank coffee in Waitrose. Once his tooth had hardened from the filling, we had a very late lunch before coming home.
 
Today’s picture is not particularly good, but I have not seen a Green Woodpecker in the garden for a very long time.
 
The temperature at Saffron Walden today was thirty-six degrees Celsius. I think I need another colour for these very high temperatures.
