Charlotte - Monsal Dale - Derbyshire

A new years day Walk in Derbyshire with friends near where we live in Shefield. Although I have lived in Sheffield my whole life I don't rememebr going to Monsal Dale ever before. The abandoned rail line is now used as a cycle track and for walkers (like ourselves that day) the tunnels are quite incredible and have an atmosphere all of their own.

I really want to go back later in the year with some lighting and do some more pictures.

This is my first year doing a 365 project and although I took many pictures today - the 1st Jan I think this one just captures my beautiful wife so well. x
