Me first!

In the last two days we have gone from 3 little ones down to 2. Not sure why but often the "runt" of the group does not make it. I learned that after 5 days the male takes over feeding "solo" the female may be on to another nest building project. The extras are of the male giving them chewed worm and after he leaves the "strongest' one calling "come back soon". I can hardly believe they are supposed to fledge in 5-6 days.... but will return to this nest for 2 more weeks to be fed by the father..... another sunny summer day.....
