At the car repair shop

Last week I found a note with a phone number saying he scratched my car. We phoned and he said he was willing to pay the repairs. Immediately saying he knew exactly what it would cost so I'd better not cheat.

I went to the garage to get an estimation for the repair. Phoned again. He is not willing to pay. He is adamant he didn't do the damage I'm talking about. He hit the car elsewhere and there's no damage there.

Not the best of days.
