Grill evening

Today, and a few days more we are expecting really hot weather. Today was 37,5 at five o'clock in the shade this afternoon. I like it.
  
Swedes are obsessed with grilling, not only in summer but all around the year. 11% of the people grilling does it all year, grilling makes 53% of the mails happy when they grill compared to ordinary cooking, 42% of the women gets happy when grilling. 58% thinks the food tastes better if grilled compared to other cooking. When you grill, the "Maynard effect" kicks in, giving a unique sensory profile consisting of taste, smell, texture, aroma and looks that are irresistible to our brains. Another big plus is the feeling of  community you experience when you grill.

 Well, that's not what the theme is about. I went shopping in the nearby town and afterwards to the harbour. It was a "Nostalgia evening", meaning the whole harbour area was filled with old cars, mainly American big cars. The enthusiasts really put them as close to mint condition as possible, some of the cars looked like they was just delivered from the factory. 

I can certainly see why some people get obsessed with fixing these old cars up. Theres something about the whole culture around cars from the 50s and 60s that attract many Swedes, mainly men but also some women and they go all in, spending thousands of hours and an indefinite sum of money to get it perfect, music and clothes and all.

The theme of the blip was obvious and I had to put in a couple of extras.
