Birthday Boys!

It just so happens that me and son Andy share a birthday and today was a big one for me (ssshhh). So we took the day of work and filled it up with great things starting with an Escape Room together with Mrs K and daughter Danielle. We actually managed to escape, in what turned out to be their hardest game, with just 45 seconds left of the 1 hour time limit.

Then we all went to lunch at Casa Brazil, the first time we'd been and it was brilliant. Me and Andy then went off to play on the Royal Portrush course on the local golf simulator, which Andy won (of course), then a couple of hours of snooker which I won (thank goodness!).

Other son Matt and Andy's fiance Jess then joined us for a trip to Pizza Express which left us all needing a lie down. No time for that though as when we got home I was greeted with 60 separately wrapped and numbered presents!!! What a great idea and a super surprise. It included the latest version of Photoshop Elements too, woohoo :-D

That was certainly a memorable birthday for both of us and a wonderful way to mark a special day.
