New Year's Day

My first post...This is a beam from the World Trade Center building. It is a Memorial Park that our town built to honor those from our town who died on 9/11. I think the reason why I wanted to post this today was to remember all those we've lost from terrorist acts, school shootings, violence and even extreme prejudice. All I want for this year is Peace. I know its idealistic of me, and I probably should pray for a job or health but really all I want is the world and its people to show a little love for each other. In the end we have nothing if it isn't with the help and understanding of our fellow men.
