Magnetic Wood

This is the cheeseboard the morning after a lovely gathering at Sharon's schoolfriend Serena's house. The knives are stuck to a knife block apparently made from a block of solid wood. Assuming the laws of physics are unchanged in 2013, I'm guessing that there are hidden magnets within the block, but it still looks pretty cool.

2012 ended well; a chilled evening in with tasty food, fizzy champagne and excellent music in the form of Jools Holland's Hootenanny. I was unwell during the day, but felt better as the evening wore on, and saw in 2013 in fine health.
