Strange weather

It's been clammy all day and black clouds looming now.
Hopefully a good thunderstorm will sort it.

On the way back from North Shields this morning I stopped off at Northumberland Park for a brief look around.

I saw these two beautiful Newfoundland dogs so asked to take their photo.
Their owner said the were both rescue dogs.

I can never understand why people buy expensive breeds of dogs only to get rid of them ???

BTW. Stan has completely recovered from whatever ailed him.
