Cooling Off

Three events in a row today.  Firstly Blood Test, I still have some, secondly Eye Test, not changed in the last two years, though my glasses are getting worn and scratched, and lastly we met up with Maureen and Ian for lunch at the Dirty Duck/Black Swan by the river.  I had an excellent Mushroom and Ale Pie washed down with a pint of Dirty Mallard. We had ice creams by the RSC for pudding.

As they left to get their bus Ann and I went to sit by the river for a while, boat and people watching.  I spotted this group on the opposite bank, happy in the not quite as warm weather as yesterday.
