My first rose

I have never grown roses so when someone gave me a miniature rose last year for my birthday I didn’t really know what to do with it. However, I planted it in a tub in the spring and it has grown and produced 12 buds This is one of them. Much cooler today so I cut the lawns back and front and did all the edges. Time now for a restorative G&T.
