Mum's West coast tour continued after a very hot night. Breakfast and conversation Al fresco and then a drive up to Helensburgh. Not as hot today but still very pleasant.

We were meeting up with F a friend of nearly 60 years, an old neighbour from our Colinton days. He is 90 and a half and unfortunately has a bad back and is registered blind but we had a very convivial lunch in the Commodore Hotel.

We then drove back east. I feel like it's been a long day. However mum enjoyed it, meeting up with friends and family.

I might just relax tonight!
