Brought in the new year in town watching all the spectacular fireworks. Wasn't at the street party but watched from the bridges. Real shame there were so many drunken idiots about. I'm all for people having a good time but not when it makes people feel uncomfortable or ruining things for everybody else. We had people letting off fireworks themselves just next to us which weren't even going off properly which worried me alot and was just plain stupid. Someone could of easily been hurt.
The organised fireworks from the castle were great though. Must say theres something quite magical about watching fireworks I can't quite put my fingers on it.
