Wet

Big thunderstorm as I set out for work this morning - I arrived at the station like this, then stepped off at Cannon Street into hot sunshine (with squelchy shoes).

Brief moment of excitement when the track next to my train was struck by lightning - big bang, sparks and smoke, but thankfully the train was unaffected.


Drinks for yet another departing colleague this afternoon (Zara, who was on a short-term contract with us).  I managed to get away a little early, having spent most of the day doing my budget.  TFI Friday!
