Orange Hawkweed

A very, very wet drive back to Glasgow this morning with spray on the motorway making driving conditions very difficult.

The plans I had to cut the grass were certainly put on the back burner and will remain there until what looks a bit like a wild flower meadow dries up a bit.

Looking out of the kitchen window I spotted a splash of orange right in the middle of the back grass. I had to investigate so as the wet grass soaked my shoes and the rain soaked my hair I went out to take a quick photo with my phone and my wonderful Plantsnap App told me it was Orange Hawkweed sometimes called Fox and Cubs.
