The first time I saw the White Cliffs of Dover from the ferry back from France, I felt so emotional, unexpectedly..
They are so iconic.
A welcome home for those returning,
Or a place to end it all,
As so many have already done.
Now it signifies a complete leap into an unknown future for years and years to come..,...
