The Bindery Shop

We went to Ludlow this morning, despite the rain (which is better than the heat), and I have totally fallen in love with it. I went a few years ago, and liked it but it wasn't overawed. It seems a lot bigger, with so much character and a wonderful atmosphere.

I found this stationery shop at one end of town, The Bindery Shop. They seem to make a lot of what they sell on the premises, and I could have spent an absolute fortune. I just bought a small notebook and a couple of cards, but it was so beautiful.

There are lots of other interesting little shops and, while there are some chain stores, there are not many. Lots of lovely little cafes too, and the market was fantastic - lots of quality stuff, not the tat you usually find in markets.

We headed over to Bridgnorth afterwards, and then on to see the boyfriend's sister. He never wants to stay long so we travel an awful long way to spend three or four hours with her. Men!
