Waiting for the concert

It is that time of year again - the BBC Proms are in full swing at the Royal Albert Hall in London.  As usual we have bought tickets to a few concerts, including a weekend Promming pass for this weekend.  When we arrived at South Kensington there were a few drops of rain, but we were able to join others sitting on the steps to the Albert Memorial, opposite the Royal Albert Hall, to wait for the concert to begin.

Tonight was a selection of music, both popular and classical, to remember 1969:  the Moon Landing, Vietnam war protests, the Woodstock festival and the Beatles' last album. Great fun.
