Peru Municipal Airport openhouse

We packed up a bunch of stuff from the gallery to sell at this event. I sold a painting and that was it for the entire day. This is the circus band with a wonderful performance. They timed the National Anthem to coincide with the skydiver delivering the American flag. Very touching. Pilots gave hundreds of airplane rides and the Air Force sent a huey over to give helicopter rides. While sort of sweaty, it really was a very nice day. In the middle of it all, Joel and I drove over to Peru Glass and Screen where a car show was being held. I took some great photos of 1960s muscle cars so I can paint them. Totally fun.
