A new year, a new effort to Blip more.

After the wet and generally depressing weather of the last 12 months, January 1st 2013 brought a great sunny day so we went for a long walk through Dalkeith and the Country Park. The odds of getting dry, sunny days off work means you have to take these opportunities to get outdoors when they come.

The long walk, fresh air, combined with a week of festive/family celebrations took its toll with the kids, O and C, pictured here, about to fall asleep on the sofa.

With C having been born at the start of the year and work as busy as its ever been, I've struggled to get much time out with the camera in 2012, but feeling motivated again, by this good article about The Herald snappers having done a year of Blips in 2012.
