Love You Mom

We started New Years off the right way today with a traditional German meal. Our family has done this for as long as I've been alive.

This year like most was unique in it's own special way. My mother has been battling cancer the past six months.

At 83, this is her forth round and she's in the toughest fight of her life. So looking across the table today was a delight.

Sharing this meal together was a joyful way to start the new year.
