Castle Swim

Our son and daughter in law did the Castle Swim today. It wasn’t the usual route however as work is being done on the Castle Slipway. They had to swim from the Havelet slipway to the bathing pools across the bay. Hundreds took part and each group wearing different colour bathing caps set off at different intervals. The weather was glorious. Tim and Sarah swam it in 17 mins. Well done! I’d have done it but we carried the bags and looked after the grandchildren!!! Hahaha! Phew!
