Cheers!
The barley fields at Chesters are ripening. Soon the grain will be harvested, and then begins the process of turning it into beer. It all happens right here, on the farm. Even the water comes straight out of the ground and into the brewery.
We're not beer-drinkers, but our eldest son is, and he says it's very good. It's bottled, but you can get it on draught at the pub in Ancrum.
We were over there for a walk this afternoon. But my chosen refreshment was an ice-cream, vanilla tablet flavour, made by Giacopazzi's of Eyemouth. We like to spend our money locally :-)
