The Benefit Of An Untrimmed Hedge
The benefit of leaving the privet hedge untrimmed until later in the summer is the appearance of the occasional flower.
And one occasional flower was today visited by two Painted Lady butterflies, who stayed for tea. The Ladies, content to share the table with each other, were not at all pleased to be sharing with a common fly, so they departed for a more exclusive venue.
But not before I had captured them in a Blip.
