Happy birthday S, our younger boy is 19 today and we were out for a bar meal this evening.

My Fuji camera is away back to be repaired. It has always had a problem with moisture condensing inthe view finder, latterly even on a dry day.

My "quirky" Sigma compact came out of the drawer for this one. I have cracked the screen, smallish apertures (which I favour) show up a mark on the sensor and I think one battery takes about 6 or 7 images now.. It is slow and awkward to use. For all that, this earlier generation Foeveon sensor grabs tones in a pleasing way. As far as I can tell Sigma have walked away from the technology yet you never see a cheap one on ebay.
