With mountains like these

Out into the blue

The Gods, Greek or Norse or whatever, were truly looking after us...

We paid our respects to Oban’s retail outlets but I was hugely disappointed not to have a rummage at Nancy Black’s. Agu and I bought some outdated powdered mash and a tin of mushy peas for later and then could not let the scampi on the seafront option go. Neither that nor the battered haggis. Both excellent.

Back a bit further South to Easdale and the brilliant Seafari...

We were so blessed with a light breeze and blue skies, but seals, Sea Eagles (a pair with their giant baby) an OTTER !!!!!, more dive bombing Gannets and porpoises made it a most fabulous trip. Whoever owns Scarba is a very lucky man...

The butcher in Oban didn’t disappoint with lamb chops and fillet steak, and a pre dinner walk on the shore gave us the appetite needed to appreciate them. And we found a fishing rod washed up to boot!

Slept like babies...
