Leap??

I needed a Scots blipper to tell me that 'leap' in Scottish dialect=a waterfall or cataract.
Even on a dull day like today the site of this cairn is spectacular. Govett, a pioneering surveyor, was here in 1831, and following him was no less a pioneer than Darwin! Darwin actually recorded being here in his diary of 1836, and gave the place what we would call a 5 star review.
Anyway, thank goodness it's not a memorial to any tragic impulses!
