Samish Overlook
It was sunny this morning and early afternoon, but I was busy doing painting prep. By the time I was ready to go outside, the sun was trying to hide behind a thin cloud layer before slipping below the horizon. In spite of that, I decided to go to the Samish Overlook, one of the places I used to paraglide from.
It wasn't a spectacular sunset, but it was still worth the trip. Mt. Rainier, about 150 miles to the south, was just visible in this other view across the Skagit River valley.
