Sparks were Flying!

This is Liam doing some welding for us. He is quite a character. He popped by because he was bored; his baby son was at his Nana's and his wife - a paramedic - was working.
He is just one of the big family who owns the boatyard and Pennine Cruisers Hireboats - and nicer folk you couldn't wish to meet.
When Liam gets going he is like a series of lightning flashes - literally - he works so fast! He got all those little nagging jobs done that have been on Frank's mind for a while.
While he was working he told me he is lucky to be alive after a bad car crash a few years ago in which his friend died.
He then knocked his knuckles hard on his head to demonstrate that his skull is a series of metal plates as are some of his fingers and knuckles. He was left with lots of scars round his forehead and eye socket; though they are no longer visible as he saved up £4000 to have plastic surgery.
He's quite a handsome young fella and nobody would know what he's been through. He's also very positive and cheery, singing at the top of his voice as he went about his work.
We're looking forward to seeing him again soon for another little welding job.
