Interesting Places. Interesting People

I was out early again photographing along the lake near Montraux and was taking a long exposure photo of this Jetty when an old Swiss man walked up to me and started speaking in French. One of my regrets is having not pursued my o-level French, and so I had no idea what he was saying. I showed him some of my long exposure shots and he then took out an old photo envelope and showed me photos of what I believe to be his family and friends. I guess this is one of the reason I love my photography. It takes me around the world and the language is universal.
