Willowherb

Rosebay Willowherb (Chamaenerion angustifolium) - the ubiquitous Fireweed of northern latitudes - is now in full flower beside the road up Deadmantree Hill.

The flower spikes will bloom in sequence from bottom to top over the next few weeks, counting down to the end of summer as flowers give way to fluffy seeds.
