Painted Lady
Most of the day was spent at the studio. I'd been lucky enough to manage to get a savoy cabbage, complete with it's outer leaves, very blousy, just what I wanted!
By the time I got home the sun was shining and the garden was full of butterflies. I saw a painted lady, and suddenly the air seemed full of them! Almost as many painted ladies as tortoiseshells, only a couple of peacocks.
I will return to my cabbage tomorrow!
