Such a lovely day today after the weekend of murk. Shame to be back in the office. Evening stroll down the lane all was golden. A lot of barley still to be harvested.
Slightly horrified to see a huge adder run over on the road just down from our house. I guess it was flushed out of the field by the harvesting...I had no idea there were adders around here...I’ll need to be more mindful in the wild corners of the garden!
