Today is Earth overshoot day. From today until the end of the year everything we consume is borrowed stolen from the future. Essentially at current consumption levels we would need a second planet Earth to be sustainable. In short we need to cut our consumption by half. We should start with the minority of people consume the majority of resources. Earth overshoot day was first reported in 1970 when it occurred on the 29th of December.

On other news our new Prime Minister was booed on the way into Bute House to visit our FM. He decided to leave by the back door to avoid the crowd.
