Galanthus Atkinsii....
......usually the first snowdrop to flower in my garden. It's named after the 19th Century plantsman James Atkins. Just one tiny flower at present perhaps one year I'll have copious amounts of these little beauties. A lovely sign that spring is creeping in.
Thanks to osuzanna for hosting Tiny Tuesday :)
Tuesday.......another spring-like day, 17.3C! Very mild conditions for mid-winter, calm making for great gardening weather. But alas tonight cold southerlies with rain and snow is supposed to set in, even snow down to sea level which is quite exciting! I just might have snow on my doorstep :)
Warm thanks for all the fav's, stars and such kind words for yesterday's double droplet, delighted you enjoyed it :)
Happy Tuesday everyone :)
