On my walk today I surprisingly saw a lot of butterflies.   I had forgotten my camera so used my phone to capture some pictures and I liked this one of the small tortoiseshell best.   It was nice to see so many as there have been few so far this summer.

Dull but warm today and pleasant to walk and also to sit out for lunch.    Forecast for heavy rain and thunder and lightning though.
