Ottolenghi

Meeting up with chase after a year. So much to catch up on. We ate our way through the delicious Ottolenghi menu for two hours. Those aubergines were particularly yum. Wow, we got a fright when we got the bill. Still, it's a lovely restaurant.

Then round the corner to a good Spittlefields pub to find that it's closed. Looks like another redevelopment site. So after a drink in another bar it was back to Liverpool Street to see the friends off on their train on the Norwich line. Cancelled! Oh no. 

And I still don't know if they got home.
