Up all night .....

...... & I still haven't been to sleep!

I had just got into bed & reached that lovely stage of almost drifting into sleep when the phone rang! I did have to laugh at Hubby who had been asleep for a couple of hours ...... he kept trying to turn off his alarm!

Of course .... it was the Care Line ...... Mum was feeling dizzy & couldn't get out of bed! They had already called a paramedic for her ...... so we got dressed again & went round!

About 2 hours after the phone call an ambulance arrived ...... they gave Mum a thorough check up & thought she might be dehydrated ..... again!

Amazingly she didn't object to them taking her to hospital .... so she must have been feeling rather groggy!

We waited for ages for the doctor to see her ....... about 5 hours I think it was ....... by then it was about 9am! My eldest sister arrived then so that we could go home having been up all night!

Needless to say .... Hubby has not gone to work today ..... it would not have been safe for him to be driving a bus having had practically no sleep!

Mum is now back home ...... they finally decided that there was nothing wrong! Still doesn't explain why she was so dizzy ..... hopefully she will be okay tonight ..... I can't go another night without any sleep ...... I've been up for 30 hours now!
