Messing about in the river

My swimming friends and I intended to be intrepid swimmers and do the river Brathay today, but ended up having a dip in this lovely pool beside the bridge at Brathay church. We then glided somewhat un-gracefully downriver for a few hundred yards, knocking our knees on the mossy rocks.
