Umbrellas

Despite the fact that it was likely to be sunshine and showers we decided to go to Cambridge for coffee, lunch and a walk. Today was the only day this week that we could go out.
 
We started with coffee and cake in John Lewis and walked the around the town taking photographs. We had lunch in the University Centre and this is where today’s picture was taken, through a window. This shows a group of tourists who had been sheltering under the trees, but had decided to venture out when the rain eased a little. We dodged the showers although I got my umbrella out once it was not needed. We had more coffee before coming home.
 
The temperature at GMT noon was twenty-two degrees; a muggy sort of day with many showers and intermittent sunshine.
